I was driving home alone last nite from my boy's place where I had my very first encounter with a road block. You wouldn't know how foolish and embarrassed i was. This was how it went:

*The police officer waves his lighted stick indicating for me to stop*
*I stopped my car and onli managed to wind down my window 15 seconds later* (he had to stand there and watch me fumbling for the buttons while the traffic behind me was getting heavier)
Me: 'Hello! Happy New Year!!'
Police officer: 'Hi, are you still on probation license miss? (pointing at my L plate)'
Me: 'Yup! why?'
Police officer: 'How can you drive without your headlights?'
Me: ' Oh shit! sorry i forgot!' (immediately turned on my headlights)
Police officer: 'Do you know you can get fine for not turning on your headlights?'
Me: 'Ya i know, so sorry i totally forgot about it!'
He went on asking where i was going and where i had came from. Lucky he didn't give me a ticket for that. Guess he was too tired coz he din even bother checking my driving license. Thankyou mr policeman. I will remember you, i hope.
